All brake fluid attracts moisture, which can cause the fluid to break down and perform poorly, particularly in emergency braking situations. Poor maintenance can lead to contaminated fluid, corroded parts and increased stopping distance. If not specified by the owner’s manual, we suggest flushing the systems and replacing with new brake fluid every two years at the minimum and we check that brake fluid when you come in for service!
We realize that most drivers do not open their owner's manuals or check their tires only scheduling service when their dash light indicates it is time for an oil change!
